“My Life Sucks”
We all know what it feels like to not be certain if we can ever reach our goals. We all know what it feels like to have self-doubts, even the people that claim to have never doubted themselves once.
It hits everyone. You and me, we are no exception to that rule. “Will I ever become muscular?” or “Will I ever have enough money to live a good life?” and we ask us such questions when we are asleep or bored.
Self-doubt and uncertainty are fears. Fear of never living your dreams and staying in mediocrity. Fear of not being able to do it, fear of not being able to do one more step…
And it’s also a lot of fucking pain. What if the time practicing was wasted? What if we did everything wrong? What will happen when we die?
It’s pain which we avoid with things that draw our attention, for example, video games, sex, watching porn and masturbating, eating junk food and watching Netflix and so much more.
We all avoid because the hard way is the hard, boring, and uncertain way. But deep in our hearts, we have goals, wishes, dreams and other things that we want. We are humans and we search for happiness and answers every day.
What Can You Do Against These Feelings?
The best thing that we can do to counter feelings of self-doubt and uncertainty is to press on. Nothing great was achieved procrastinating with video games like I love to do it for example.
I am guilty, I want a better life and I know what to do but often I am just tired of the grind and the struggle that I just dive into video games.
What it takes is to learn to be disciplined and to do repetitive boring tasks every goddamn day. Don’t listen to these people saying “you must love it to do it“. You can not even have sex all the time.
You must allow these nasty feelings and fears and press on. You will have to FIGHT!
We procrastinate too much! Let’s be real here friends. We will not earn $10.000 per month working for someone else. We will also not earn $10.000 per month by ourselves if we spent 1/3 of our time with entertainment.
We are generation snowflake and everything has to be fun or entertaining… if it does not entertain us, then it is wrong.
Imagine that your goal is a seed that you have in your hand. You want to find the best place to stick it into the earth. And most of us don’t even do that because they don’t start to get after their goals.
So that seed will never start to grow out of the earth…
Some planted that seed and they even watered it but they failed to water that awesome seed every day and it’s growth stopped. That’s procrastination, we don’t have the discipline to do what it necessary to reach our goals because we rather eat junk food instead of giving that seed some water.
It is entirely in our hands. And we will feel better if we force ourselves to work on our goals every day. Self-doubt and uncertainty will transform into confidence because we start to realize how much power we have in our hands to make this seed a great plant.
And I am certain that everyone can reach their dreams if they put enough effort and discipline into doing the boring repetitive tasks…
PS: I felt huge self-doubt today, but every hard day is a good teacher. Self-doubt always reminds me to push harder and to do what is necessary every goddamn day.
